Doodle 4 Google - 2009 At National Design Museum

A second contest for Doodle 4 Google has been announced in the US. This contest is all about drawing the logos for the home page for the holidays and other events. Doodle 4 Google is a great opportunity for children to show his/her artwork displayed on the Google homepage as a doodle for hundreds of millions of people to see.

The theme which has been announced for this year is "What I Wish For The World" which will not only tell the ability of the child but it will also disclose some of their thoughts and plans for the future.

This year Google is partnering with the Smithsonian's, Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. Cooper-Hewitt is also focused on design and education for developing the brightest design minds of tomorrow. This year's prize includes having your artwork on the Google homepage for a day, a college scholarship, and a technology grant for your school.

There are a few changes in the competition though, which would be-
The college scholarship prize for the national winner is increased to $15,000. the school district that submits most high quality entries will be awarded $10,000. And in partnership with Cooper-Hewitt, they are celebrating the 40 finalists and announcing the national winner in New York City

And and important announcement is that only students from registered schools can enter, so if you want to participate please register your school by March 17, 2009. All doodles must be submitted by March 31, 2009.!
